    Mindfulness Made Fun

    Why do children love Stix?

Unlike other mindfulness apps, our activities are fun and interactive, encouraging kids to move and engage with the instructions provided from the Stix voice.

Children win stars and badges on the Stix app after completing activities, challenges, and continuing your day streak, which they can use to customer their own mindful monster character.

Building a new mindfulness routine has never been easier!

The Stix activities teach children about their emotions, and have helped children to identify when they're feeling worried, anxious or stressed, and recognise when they need to use their Stix to self-regulate.

"A child being able to identify their feelings is one of the key objectives that Stix Mindfulness want to teach kids so it’s great to see that happening in real time." - Ruth

    Supporting Emotional Regulation

    What makes Stix different?

Most mindfulness apps rely on screens, requiring kids to sit still and passively listen. Stix is different—it combines technology with movement, using lights, vibrations, and sound to guide kids through hands-on mindfulness activities.

The Stix app enhances the experience, but the real magic happens off-screen, helping kids build focus and calm in an active, engaging way.

Sensory toys can be great for self-soothing, but they don’t teach mindfulness skills.

Stix combines sensory feedback with structured mindfulness activities, helping kids learn focus, emotional regulation, and relaxation techniques in a fun, guided way.

Fidget toys help with restless hands, but kids often get bored of them quickly since they lack structure or progression.

Stix goes further—it’s an active tool that teaches self-regulation. Using guided activities, Stix channels movement into mindfulness, keeping kids engaged while helping them develop lasting skills for focus and calm.

    • Meet Eoin

Liam, Co-Founder of Stix, saw his brothers experience growing up with ADHD; his struggles with mental wellbeing, a lack of awareness amongst educators and a lack of support from local authorities.

    • Created the Stix Concept

Liam created the first Stix concept to support children like Eoin, and he noticed the impact it could have on children's wellbeing. He teamed up with his Dad, John, to continue developing Stix into a business.

    • Launched Stix to families

Together, they launched the Stix Remotes to families in the UK with the aim of providing easy-access mental wellbeing exercises to support emotional regulation.
