Case Studies

A specialist told us to do 10 minutes of mindfulness a day, and Stix has enabled Bella to do just that. They've helped her so much with her anxiety. You really can't put a price on supporting mental health so this was a worthy investment.

Using Stix with my Year 1 and 2 students, including those with special needs, has been an absolute game-changer. It's not just a tool; it's a lifeline for busy teachers and stressed-out students alike. Highly recommended for any primary classroom!"

How Stix Helped With My 6-Year-Old’s Daily Anxiety

Isabella, Age 6

Challenge: Anxiety, sensory overload, emotional dysregulation

Isabella had been waiting over a year for formal support through CAMHS when her mum discovered Stix. She struggled with sudden emotional outbursts and had difficulty calming herself.

Through regular use of Stix activities like Balloon Arms and Balance, she became more self-aware and confident in managing overwhelming feelings.

She started initiating her own mindfulness breaks and even offered the remotes to her mum during stressful moments.

Amazing!

Brought for my 10/11 year old Autistic and ADHD child to make her more independent in managing his emotions. She struggled to implement the grounding/ calming activities on her own and Stix is enabling this. She loves using them and will now independently go to them. Such a great purchase, the whole family love them!!

Stix in the mix

I bought Stix for my 9yr old daughter who has Autism, combined ADHD & Anxiety.
We use them anytime during the day & love the relaxing activities which we use for bedtimes.
Fantastic that they can also be used without the app, your phone or tablet too giving that freedom to use anywhere they are taken & upload/download your progress later to the app to still receive any rewards/stars earned.
Excellent smart little device for calming, relaxing & helping regulate your mood.
Perfect & convienent in size for little hands.
Can be used without all family members too as profiles can be created.
Great for any competitive family's.

Highly recommended

As an Audhd mum with an Audhd daughter as well as being a Senco for over 15 years, I highly recommend investing in Stix for your child or school. My daughter is 7 and Audhd. She really struggles with handling big emotions, especially anger which often becomes physical as well as sadness and excitement. She's accessed play therapy previously but it is expensive to keep up. So we thought we would try the Stix for a month and see if they would help. I wasn't too hopeful as she's found most well being exercises we've tried to access boring after a few sessions but I was also desperate to try anything to help. I'm so pleased we made the decision to buy them as the impact is evident after a few weeks. My daughter has really enjoyed the app and earning stars to customise her monster, she's also enjoyed the activities. She's already used the "rainbow painting" when we were out swimming and she was upset as well as the "surfing" when she had a friendship issue on a play date. She's also really enjoyed being able to do the Stix with me or her dad and we have a Stix each. We've also taken them away on holiday this week with us and she's been able to help use them when she needs a quiet moment. I've contacted the Stix team to ask a question, they responded promptly and were very helpful. I really recommend these to help give your child the tools they need when navigating their feelings in the world!

Physically nice product

Physically nice product, good activities, calming voice.
Limited activities (not yet had the upgrade?). We are screen free and without the app the Stix give you the activity automatically and once you start one you have to complete for another. Would benefit from ability to move on or choose activities from the Stix (without the need for the app). My son will not use without adult support (age 6).

Great for bedtime

My 5 year old finds the Stix a nice way of calming down at bedtime and enjoys spending his stars on new items for his character. It is great to have more activities to try, keeps him engaged. We are enjoying the Calming Down and Sleep activities at the moment.

He often gives me one Stix so we can do the activities together, which is a nice way of bonding.
