Case Studies

A specialist told us to do 10 minutes of mindfulness a day, and Stix has enabled Bella to do just that. They've helped her so much with her anxiety. You really can't put a price on supporting mental health so this was a worthy investment.

Using Stix with my Year 1 and 2 students, including those with special needs, has been an absolute game-changer. It's not just a tool; it's a lifeline for busy teachers and stressed-out students alike. Highly recommended for any primary classroom!"

How Stix Helped With My 6-Year-Old’s Daily Anxiety

Isabella, Age 6

Challenge: Anxiety, sensory overload, emotional dysregulation

Isabella had been waiting over a year for formal support through CAMHS when her mum discovered Stix. She struggled with sudden emotional outbursts and had difficulty calming herself.

Through regular use of Stix activities like Balloon Arms and Balance, she became more self-aware and confident in managing overwhelming feelings.

She started initiating her own mindfulness breaks and even offered the remotes to her mum during stressful moments.

Practice that works

We started implementing Stix activities into routine for my 6 year old. In the morning he will do stretching activity, after school something to get him move and shake it off and in the evening a relaxing activity.
He struggles with emotional regulation and focus so I wanted to find a fun way for him to practice breathing and focusing. And let me tell you - it helps a lot. Like every other mindfulness activities - it is a practice. Which mean we have to be consistent as parents and give children coping mechanisms. It is not a magical cure, but a magical tool which helps if your child uses it. I often do activities with him and we laugh and make it fun.

Poor

I think they are really expensive for what they are I would have liked to see more sensory movement feedback from the Stix on completing task like the Wii remotes give that buzz in the hands overall I would say complete waste of money nether one of my kids were impressed

We absolutely love our Stix so far⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We absolutely love our Stix so far. Only one thing would be that we wish they were a little bit louder. Both our kids, 6 and 3, are enjoying using these and love telling people they’re purpose, what they’re learning and have even offered them to us to help us to ‘calm down’ in stressful school run moments. Looking forward to continuing our journey with Stix!

Amazing!

Brought for my 10/11 year old Autistic and ADHD child to make her more independent in managing his emotions. She struggled to implement the grounding/ calming activities on her own and Stix is enabling this. She loves using them and will now independently go to them. Such a great purchase, the whole family love them!!

Stix in the mix

I bought Stix for my 9yr old daughter who has Autism, combined ADHD & Anxiety.
We use them anytime during the day & love the relaxing activities which we use for bedtimes.
Fantastic that they can also be used without the app, your phone or tablet too giving that freedom to use anywhere they are taken & upload/download your progress later to the app to still receive any rewards/stars earned.
Excellent smart little device for calming, relaxing & helping regulate your mood.
Perfect & convienent in size for little hands.
Can be used without all family members too as profiles can be created.
Great for any competitive family's.
